a big yawn

OK, OK, I *realize* I'm one of the few people in this country who does not care about sports, specifically football...and The Superbowl. Many of the places I frequent on Sunday evening were closed down - the Siamese Cat Thai Restaurant, and the church I sometimes attend only had morning services.

The Superbowl is something I've tried to avoid for years. I don't care, still don't care, and wonder if I will ever care. I shouldn't *have* to love something that contains zero interest for me. Last year, Christelle and I had a lot more fun hiking at the Cedar Hill State Park, although we did get lost for a couple hours!

No matter, trying to attend a party, pretend I have any interest in the sport on the TV, and making conversation around play time is not something that sounds enjoyable. Nah...I'd rather watch a movie or TV show online (since every other TV show is a rerun, since apparently the entire nation must watch this football game!) or catch up on one of the many books I'm trying to read.
