During my undergrad years, I wasn't exactly the most studious student. Yes, I did get good grades (one has to for dietetic internship!)....but I had such a social life, school would just have to wait. During dead week and finals week, I was one of those who ended up cramming at the last minute...Every single year....but the nice thing about Oklahoma State was that they offered free pancakes in the student union every year. Also, the Edmon Lowe library was huge & beautiful & I actually liked studying there. I was bound to see someone I knew no matter if it was 6 p.m. or 3 a.m. cramming.
And one year, it snowed in the evening through the night. It was probably one of my favorite memories of OSU & its campus - snow, walking to the union with friends, and delicious pancakes. My roommate was Dalal, a cute little gal from Kuwait. She'd never seen snow before, so it was pretty cool to see her reaction.
